Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Tilalla on eläimiä ja ympärillä tuhansien järvien Itä- Suomi sekä luonnonantimiltaan rikkaat metsäalueet. Läheinen järvi tarjoaa harrastemahdollisuuksia, ongintaa, uintia, veneilyä yms. Metsissä on voi samoilla, marjastaa, sienestää ja vain nauttia rauhallisuudesta sekä hiljaisuudesta. Talvella voi lumikenkäillä sekä hiihtää ja luistella olosuhteiden salliessa.

Sointulassa pääset halutessasi hoitamaan lampaita, ankkoja, riikinkukkoja ja kyyhkysiä, saat nauttia perinteisestä suomalaisesta maalaistunnelmasta ja voit saunoa hyvässä puusaunassa. Yöveden Ateljeekoti on tunnelmallinen majoituskohde historiallisessa, vuonna 1893 valmistuneessa entisessä kyläkoulussa. The Kaita cottage is by the lake next to a farm house in the countryside. The lake is excellent for fishing. The cities of Kuopio, Mikkeli and Savonlinna are good daytrip destinations by car. The cottage is well equipped. The sauna, shower and toilet are in the main building. You can cook either in the cottage kitchen or the grill house.
