- Great Louisiana seafood, great environment, and you must try the Shrimp Buster. The drive to the restaurant goes through an older, run-down, part of downtown so it might seem as if you’re lost at some point, but stay on course. The food and atmosphere is well worth it. Located at 1833 Pierre Ave.

This small duct off restaurant is actually a local landmark and serves some of the most delicious Cajun food I’ve had. There are many new offers great catfish, Gumbo, Shrimp and So many other delicious things.

Long standing great Louisiana cuisine. This is very casual dining in an enclosed patio at picnic tables or a few booths inside. The fried catfish appetizer with home made onion rings is fabulous!

Local and iconic, very interesting history. Shrimp Buster, cup of gumbo, all more than good. Great selection of beer. Step back in time. Less than 10 minute drive. Don't be put off by the neighborhood, plenty of patrons and security.
