Pilot Cove offered my family of 4 (plus dog) a wonderful experience at the doorstep to Pisgah and Brevard. Loved being close to the Hub and the food and coffee truck at the bottom of the hill were great. I enjoyed drinking an Americano from the coffee truck on my way into the Forest or after a long trail run on the Art Loeb trail. The walking trails on the property were the perfect place to walk the dog (though several downed trees cross the path). The house was simple but fit ours needs as we spent most of our time outdoors. Overall we loved Pilot Cove and will be back!

Cute little cabin in a peaceful spot just outside of Pisgah National Forrest. Close to delicious food trucks and even downtown Brevard. We were able to rest and enjoy equally with this stay.

The experience was amazing and Rodney was so informative about everything. Michael make check in so easy and he was super helpful during the entire stay. I think we have a new spot. Definitely will be back.

The Pilot Cove cabin was a wonderful spot; we visited the Pisgah National Forest, Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls, and the Blue Ridge Parkway to Asheville! I highly recommend this lovely location!

Kathleen place is very nice. My Family and I enjoy the home and the beach. I can't speak for the restaurants in the area because we mostly cooked, oh Big Daddys has nice fish tacos. The seafood markets are very reasonable. The elevator was definitely a plus. The bikes and all the amenities I mean you don't need to bring anything like chairs or beach items, Kathleen has it all. Beds where comfortable. We just loved the house. Kure Island is not a place I would return too not that I had issues from anyone it just to far from the Airport. All and All Kathleen was very responsive to anything if needed. Thank you again Kathleen for EVERYTHING😃 Ms. Taylor

Wow, a great place where you can become one with nature. You find yourself immersed in taking in the views morning, noon, and night. Pilot Cove is a peaceful community and had feel of a place tucked well into the mountains but just on the edge of town. A true favorite!

Nicest hosts we’ve ever stayed- Christopher and his parents are gems. Didn’t hurt that there was a free bag of vigilante coffee out, either. With bikes and beach chairs and easy access points on both sound/ocean side of kill devil hills, this made for the perfect beach vacation. The unit was spotless and easy to access, beds are comfortable. Lots of places to sit outside. 10/10 recommend.

Lirio Woods was a great stay for my boyfriend and me! We appreciated the little details (i.e., pre-filled ice cube trays, laundry basket, room heaters, dryer balls for your down jackets, extra/sorted firewood, recycling bins, marked/lit parking space, etc.) that made the trip more comfortable and convenient. There were lots of helpful info cards for the amenities. The fireplace was already set up the night we checked into the stay. Although it only has a kitchenette, there were enough appliances and kitchenware to make meals and reheat leftovers--induction burner and toaster oven came in handy. The place was in a quiet location away from road noise but easy to venture into nearby towns. Thank you so much, Katie, for hosting us! We appreciated your excellent/efficient communication during our stay. Highly recommend staying at Lirio Woods!

Very clean and clutter free. Close to the beach and other attractions. Yvonne was very quick to respond and very helpful with all questions.

This place is perfect for a quick trip. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood and close to everything we wanted to go to. The house was extremely clean and Kris was very communicative and helpful!! Would be great if you were planning a golf trip to Pinehurst.

Due to an unforeseen circumstance, we had to cancel with our other Airbnb host after we were already on location with 5 adults and 2 dogs! That left us homeless for the week after driving 11+ hrs to get to the location. We did frantic AirBnB searching to find a place for us to stay for the night plus the rest of the week. I am so thankful we upgraded the price a bit but it was well worth it and the rental company was so kind and accommodating. It was Sunday but they still responded quickly and sent us the paperwork and forms immediately. We were at our new place that night. We had enough space and a bed for the adult kids and my mom, plus one for us, the parents. The home was fabulous, available immediately with easy check-in, pet friendly, and across the street from the beach! An unexpected bonus, the beach was also pet friendly, which made my elderly dog's heart soar! It's a quiet place at the end of an island so there are not many people around unless they're staying there.

This is an excellent place for a getaway vacation. It is very peaceful with an amazing view! We had a great time kayaking on the lake, going into the Uwharrie Forest, and visiting the zoo while we stayed in Asheboro. The neighborhood is a great place to walk. We enjoyed the outdoor fire, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. It was a memorable vacation.

Staying at Gladys' beach house was absolutely lovely. It didn’t feel like an Airbnb—it felt like home. Even the house rules made us feel more like welcomed guests than renters. The space was warm, comfortable, and just 3 minutes from the beach. We can’t wait to come back!

Kelly is an outstanding host. The place was incredible…clean, bright, peaceful and well appointed. I felt completely at home and can’t wait to stay here again!

Lynda was excellent at communication. The rental was exactly as described super quiet, and peaceful. The sunset view on the dock was breathtaking. The one thing that stood out about this rental was it clean and comfortable. I have to say also Check out instructions were super easy. Thank you so much and we look forward to visiting again soon!

Excellent peaceful stay on the lake for a family reunion

Had a great week at Liquid State. The house was extremely clean and had everything from kitchen items to beach items (chairs, umbrellas, wagon, canopy, etc.). The beds are comfortable, but soft. Great location with a short walk to either the sound for amazing sunsets or the beach. House was comfortable and the pool was amazing. Would recommend this house and would stay again! Thanks Bridget and Thomas for the candy, wine and goodies, as well as your quick responses to minor needs.

Thank you for everything! The only problem we had was an outside deck blind blew down during the night, but it really didn’t affect the trip and didn’t look damaged..my mom left a note about it I believe…otherwise, great experience overall and would definitely recommend

We had a great time! We were a family of 6 (4 adults & 2 kids), and there were plenty of space for all of us. Enough bathrooms to give everyone privacy. The house was very well thought out. Everything you need is already there. Very clean and comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Beach is a short drive as well as everything else (grocery store, restaurant, boardwalk, etc). Hostesses are very responsive and welcoming. I would stay here again the next time we come to Carolina Beach.

I will definitely stay here again! The host was extremely helpful and responsive when I had difficulty locating the place. Take the time to read the directions given in the booking - Google maps had me do something different. I loved the location and the clean home. It was nice having an inside that was comfortable and without the tacky beach decor. I loved the location’s proximity to shops, parks, the beach, and restaurants!

We loved it! The pools were nice and clean and it did not feel overcrowded. Neighbors were friendly and welcoming. The condo was beautiful & functional. We will definitely come again!

Great family beach house! We traveled with our kids over spring break (off season). Easy to keep clean (spill proof!) and a very short walk to the beach. Excellent host who is kind and super communicative. House has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We’ll be back! Tip for electric car owners: We were able to charge our car at Twiddy’s for free because we were staying during **off season only**. Otherwise charge up fully before getting to Corolla.
