Welcome, stay and play for 2 nights, a week or more. Located 20 minutes from Mackinaw City and adjacent to trail number 7 with amazing scenery and many opportunities to eat and drink on and off the trail. Cook in the well-appointed kitchen. Relax and entertain in the large living room with 50" TV and 2 large sofas. Rest well in one of the 2 private bedrooms or open loft with two twin beds. The single bathroom has a shower and garden tub on the main level. Close to Mackinaw City/ Mullet Lake.

When we are not using our 2nd home, it is available for Airbnb guests. Our family home since 1986; when I designed & personally built it for my parents. Located 30 minutes to Ann Arbor, 15 minutes to downtown Chelsea which offers plenty of great eats and drinks, 20 minutes to downtown Jackson, 10 minutes to Sandhill crane winery.

Enjoy summer days or wintry splendor. We are located in a rustic area of northwest Michigan, 15 miles north of Harbor Springs, within 2 miles of the Tunnel of Trees. We are conveniently located for nature preserves, hiking trails, beautiful beaches, ski slopes, and Mackinaw Island. Our home is attached to the guest suite but guests access their suite via a secured private entrance. Our equipped kitchen has a pantry, fresh farm eggs, butter, a home-baked item, ground coffee, and teas.

WHAT IS LAKE LUNA CABIN.... Our cabin was hand built with Oak logs from the property and Yellow Pine logs from Montana and Wyoming. Go fishing, swimming, hiking, canoeing (bring your own), exploring Enjoy watching deer, turkey, pheasants and nesting bald eagles. Hoses too! Plenty of frogs to catch (and release) and turtles to view. You will also find nesting Eastern Bluebirds around the property. Ducks and gees of all types visit the property. Enjoy the water fountain as well!

The Round Haven with Big Glen Lake Access

We are situated in the heart of Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore and a 300 ft walk to a secluded public access on Big Glen Lake. Come enjoy our recently renovated 28' RV that sits directly on the Thornapple River. Enjoy collecting eggs for breakfast from our chicken coop, playing with our goats or kayaking the river. 4 Kayaks Included!!! Feel free to wander our 14 acres or just relax by the river. The RV has a full bathroom, with small shower. It has a stove, microwave, fridge, a grill, and all the necessities to fix a great meal. All linens are provided. Come make some unique memories!

Lewis Farm Retreat

We love our 100+ year old farm and want to share our family gem with you. This charming, vintage farmhouse has a private, in-ground heated pool with a slide, pagoda and hammocks. A paddock with a run-in is available to use for an additional fee if you are traveling with your own horses. Our farm is ideal for artists/musicians, equipped with supplies, art, and instruments. Camp/hike/ride the picturesque 50 acres of rolling hills, forests, meadows, and wetlands.

Steeped in nature, the gazebo provides a get away into nature, with its double bed and intimate sized room this is a wonderful space for 2 to be immersed in a peaceful environment. Whether you came here to rest & revive or to explore there is plenty to be had! The gazebo has a nearby compostable toliet (shared with other guests), and just a 1 minute walk on a path in the woods to the main house (where the full bathroom is that can be used 9am-8pm).
