The photos don't do this place justice. Beautiful property with a wide open view of the mountains. Everything was pristine inside, comfortable beds, big bathroom with a smaller half bath downstairs which was perfect for 3 of us. The huge balcony on the upper floor was lovely and great to stargaze from. Huge comfy hammock. Private fire pit area with plenty of firewood, easy to get started. Helpful small touches like plenty of towels, umbrellas (helpful during this drizzly weekend), a well marked driveway and everything inside the house was easy to find (with helpful proactive instructions for any amenities you might want to partake of during your visit. Equidistant between Crozet and Charlottesville which made it easy to check out the arts and craft festival in the morning, make it back home for lunch and a nap, before heading to Cville for dinner. We didn't cook at the house but the kitchen was well appointed, nicely organized. Highly recommend!

The house itself is a beautiful, charming, and immaculately clean space with everything you could possibly need for a vacation. The decor is delightful and tasteful, making it feel very cozy and inviting. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary items and beautifully remodeled with modern appliances.

The surrounding scenery is just as stunning as the house. Waking up to views of the mountain range was a treat, and we even spotted some wildlife, like deer, in the fields nearby. The house was located in a dark sky area, which was perfect for our interest in astrophotography.

Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this charming and well-cared-for home to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway.
