The host cancelled the morning of the trip and had no alternative places to stay.

Host canceled on us day of check in via msg, but has yet to process the cancellation or refund on their end meaning we had to spend new $ to stay somewhere else last minute without even having access to originally spent funds. This was over 1 wk ago, still nothing showing a cancelation or refund in process. This is shady business.

The town of Leavenworth is breathtaking. The stay (Wanderlust no.8) was conveniently located next to many shops, souvenirs, dining, cafe, gas, grocery within walking distance!

There was a last minute change in reservation on the host’s end but host swiftly helped us move to another location.

Reservation was canceled after check in time while we were on the way to Leavenworth. Was provided alternative options, neither one had openings. Hotel was closed at 4, but we got our notification of cancellation at 4:15. Hotel and host would not answer phone calls, and did not respond to any messages within a reasonable amount of time considering we were on our way there (30-40 minutes before a response, and that was sending multiple messages)
Host did not provide accurate information to get a refund, in fact did not really provide any information. Felt like a scam.
Had to contact Airbnb directly to get this resolved. Understand things happen, it was everything after our reservation was cancelled that I had issues with.
No care, figure it out yourself mentality and the complete opposite of how you would think someone would respond.
