Great place and would strongly recommend! Would stay again.

Location is very convenient for our needs. We were attending a program at Barber. Easy to get to airport. About 18 mins to Barber. 20 Mins to anywhere we needed to go.

The house is spectacular. A beautiful old but updated building with great charm. And the decorations are amazing. We spent quite a bit of time just looking at the furniture, art, lamps..very cool place.
Outdoor space was great for a coffee in the morning. Nice deck with a grill.
Bedrooms were nice and comfortable. Good sizes.
One of the three baths is tub only but it didn't affect us. Nice to have a bath on each level.
Kitchen was modern and clean.

Minor annoyance, impossible to escape anymore, was smell of pot as you go out of area. One night there was a yippy dog in the area. Again, minor.

We had trouble with hot water but Margaret and Marcus addressed it immediately. Extremely responsive and professional. Great hosts. All went well.

This house - both upstairs and downstairs - is my go to Airbnb when traveling to Birmingham and Barber Motorsports. I love the location right on the park and lake plus it's close to everything while being removed from the city.

Lovely older home, decorated cutely. Everything was great and Margaret was a great host.
