We rented Nancy’s place for a wedding at Morris Estate and it is even closer than the hotels which is wonderful. There were 7 of us and it was perfectly situated for 3 couples and one solo. There were so many cute rooms, it was incredibly clean and very charming. The bedding and beds were comfy and the solo bonfire was honestly so nice at night to gather around for a few drinks. The kitchen was so well stocked that we opted to make family breakfasts and chill in the morning. It’s walkable to what I think is the main town. I walked every day to 2nd and main coffee shop tor a little treat and we wandered the town a bit. Highly recommend this house with character and plenty of lounge space, indoor and out.

We appreciated the fenced in yard. The individual air conditioners in the bedrooms was nice, because our family does not agree on temperatures!
The listing states that this is an older home, with mix of old and new. It’s obvious that much work has gone into the home to update it.

Our family of 6 plus our puppers loved spending the week at Nancy’s place. From understated grandeur of the house and grounds to the nostalgic feel and detail of every room, it literally makes you feel like you’re in an historic novel or an episode of Downton Abbey, but with all the modern conveniences! So many peaceful little reading and relaxing nooks, secret staircases and local historical books in the library, we spent an entire rainy day exploring the house with a big pot of spaghetti sauce simmering on the stove. Hot tub was great, the shops in Niles, proximity to beaches, wineries, all very convenient drives. Loved hearing the soft church bells ringing nearby, squirrel and bird watching on both front and back porches, it is truly a timeless gem in an adorable town. Loved the Art Deco design too! Entire house was spotless, well-stocked, soundproof, spacious, safe for families, huge privacy fenced in back yard for pups, we can’t wait to come back! Thanks Nancy! The Poynter Family
