Cramped, dank, and rundown, I've never rented a place with so many problems. The host delayed check-in unilaterally. The address in the listing was wrong. The linens were covered in hair, animal and human. The washer was filled with mold and matted pet hair and the dryer reeked of wet dog. The couches and other seating areas were dirty and damaged. The stove top was smashed. The refrigerator had dead fruit flies in it. The patio area was unusable, due to broken furniture, mold, and plant detritus. When it rained hard, the bathroom and bedrooms smelled of sewage. One day I was surprised by police officers peering in the windows, who demanded proof I owned the property-- apparently the host had accidentally triggered her security system. You won't be surprised to know I would not stay here again.

Beautiful townhome in a quiet neighborhood of Charleston but easy access and proximity to all the sights you'd want to see. Our host, Sarah, was very helpful in pointing out some additional things to do and we took her advice on several suggestions. All were well worth it and we were glad for the recommendations. The private room we had in the townhome was large and well appointed with a very comfortable bed.

A stay at this Beautiful Home was a true Pleasure! One enters historic Charleston literally as one steps out of the front door! With historical Downtown Charleston and the wonderful waterfront both within a few minutes walking distance, makes for a joyfully memorable experience. Add to that, Sarah’s very considerate and gracious hospitality, offers a stay that is perfection! A sincere 5 Star recommendation! Thank You again Sarah!

We enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s. This was our first time staying in an occupied home so we weren’t sure what to expect. Sarah made check in very easy with clear communication. The location was good. She was very helpful with suggestions of things to see on our last evening there, when we had some unexpected downtime as we had seen everything on our planned list. Parking was great. Sarah’s little dog Chowder was an absolutely adorable host as well. The only challenge for me was the bathroom felt very small.
