Reka was a kind, thoughtful host, and her place was a great base for exploring Budapest: the location, the roomy common areas, the little terrace, and the two bathrooms made everything easy and comfy. There was some street noise at night and early in the morning, and the elevator was out during our stay, but Reka let us know right away, so no surprises. One small tip to make the place perfect: consider upgrading the mattresses on the two single beds :)

We had a great stay at Reka's flat. The flat is located centrally and close to supermarkets and public transport. The flat was very clean and spacious and the kitchen has nice appliances. Reka was very helpful with recommendations and responsive to questions. My kids particularly enjoyed playing some provided boardgames.

We had an amazing stay! Our host was the best - super responsive about a few minor things that came up during our extended weekend. We could not have asked for a better location! Take note that it is a process to get in and out of the apartment - a code to enter the complex, locking the floor door and apartment door with max two sets of keys. So VERY safe! Everything was as described and we were so fortunate to have a gracious host! Thank you!

Although the location was great, next to central places to visit, local and touristic, as well as near groceries store, the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The mattresses were very thin and beds small except for the master bedroom. The pillows were not pillows for sleeping rather shams. The floor was dirty when I came in, my feet were black. The apartment was freezing as you could not put the temperature above 22 degrees while it was 3 degrees outside. And the heat was in reset every 3 hours. In the evenings half of the time, loud music came from a neighbor’s apartment. The location and size of apartment were great, yet the rules, instructions (what you can and cannot do) were not as well as the uncomfortable. The internet speed was ok late in the evenings, yet in the daytime it was horrible. I did my work in cafes during the day because of the internet. For the value, it was not worth it.
