Excellent location with a host full of pleasant and interesting conversation. Easy parking out the front and only a short 1.5ish mile walk to Frenchmen street and other central things

This is a great place for budget-minded travelers: especially for older hippy types. John lives at the house and is a great host. He is totally accessible for information and recommendations. John also has two lovely cats. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a great bakery for breakfast down the street. The location is walkable to the French Quarter in a half hour or so past lovely homes. There is also a bus. I spent three nights and really enjoyed my time there.

John is very kind and nice talking man.
He has a huge history about music and new orleans.
You can get a lot of advise from him about halls and new orleans.
Home is quite and safe. Home is very cute.

I've stayed in several Air BnB's throughout the US and Europe, and I can say that John was my favorite host -- a true New Orleans character! He's got stories and more than willing to share them. Great food recommendations and right off of Esplanade Street -- one of my favorite streets in the world. Walk to The Quarter (couple of miles) or use the easy-to-use public buses. Very close to City Park and Fairgrounds. Perfect for a no-frills single traveler. If you want a true New Orleans experience, give my new friend, John, a holla!
