Carol and I are slowing down after a 36 year career as basketmakers ,instructors, and small business owners. As craftspeople we have been able to travel around the country, most recently spending 6 excellent years in Portland, OR. As often happens though, missing our family brought us back to Appalachia and Athens County. We purchased a large place when we returned with the plan to develop an Airbnb unit.
