This is a sweet location on the water In Ucluelet. The listing is accurate in its description. However as some have said in earlier reviews you might want to think about your needs carefully before booking. Here are a few issues we thought about:
1. There are road closures coming in and going out of the area during set hours. There may also be shorter 10-20 minute delays as the main road is under construction. Plan ahead for delays if you are catching the ferry in Nanaimo!! I felt this info should have been included in the listing, to be updated as the project continues.
2. As is indicated in the listing, there is noise from the family above the guest suite below. We were mostly gone during the day, but it was quite loud in the evening. There are kids running and stomp I’m ping above. Kids will be kids, didn’t bother us, but it is quite loud. If you know this would bug you, look elsewhere.
3. Really minimal kitchen equipment. Again, all disclosed, but no oven, no stove. If you planned on a longer stay than us (2nights) you might be frustrated at the lack of appliances and dish/glassware. Most AirBnb’s also offer some basic supplies such as coffee/filters/tea for a few days. None here. A few large boxes of salt though..
4. We got no checkout instructions so we hoped we did what was expected.

For the pros:
1. Great location. Close to town, trails and water.
2: Bed comfy and nice linens.
3. Good shower and nice shampoo/conditioner/bath gel products.
4. Good check-in instructions.
