House is dated and in disrepair. Plumbing was questionable and shower floor was patched and a tripping hazard. Floors were weak, holes covered with carpet and vinyl, exposed tack strip. Third floor was never cleaned before our arrival. It was full of what appeared to be drywall dust on bedding, carpet and all furniture in that area. It was apparent no cleaner had been there. We cleaned the living room and found used rolled marijuana joints pushed under the rug. We contacted host, they blamed cleaner, expected us to wait 24 hours for cleaning. We were attending a family wedding and this impeded our ability to get ready. Cleaner came on day 2 , 3 hours after promised. Sarah promised a refund of cleaning fees only. I have yet to see the refund. It is clear at least one nights rental should have been refunded since our first night was filled with cleaning and washing bedding so that we could use the beds on the third floor. Communication was lip service, little action! Do Not Recommend!

Most comfortable place to stay for the weekend. Kitchen stocked with plenty of pots and tools for cooking a meal, lots of coffee and soaps/shampoo. Located on pretty quiet corner after hours, Love being so close to town and Northwood Square only a half of block away. Already rebooked in Nov!

Perfect location for a long weekend in DeLand. Short walk to downtown, Stetson, & Northwest Square. Friendly neighborhood. Great front porch for drinking our morning coffee, rain or shine. Perfect accommodation for 2.

I almost loved this spot. It was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. However the handicapped parking made me believe that the house was at least somewhat accessible. Only the bedroom, bathroom, and living room off the garage entrance was free of steps. There were steps up to the kitchen and dining area my elderly aunt had to navigate. Otherwise the house was lovely, and would be perfect for a visiting groups. If traveling without someone with mobility issues, I would absolutely book this lovely home again. I happily recommend it to most.
