The apartment, stay, and host were great.
We were met when we got to Tel Aviv, were given the keys and a walkthrough of the apartment. There is a big living area, large fridge with water/ice maker, dish set, etc. Both beds were good and there is massive closet space and plenty of room to walk in both bedrooms. It was nice having 2 bathrooms as well, and for a longer stay there is a washer you can use.
We didn't use the TV or phone, but the Internet worked well and was fast (and more importantly, consistent). The balcony has a view of the sea if you want to sit outside.
We were able to stock and re-stock the fridge from the supermarket, AM:PM, and "In the City" stores nearby, and it was easy to walk to the street markets, Dizengoff, and if you're a walker, to Jaffa.
The bedrooms were quiet and we had no issues sleeping there but you wouldn't be able to sleep in the living room on the sofa (which is not advertised for that anyway), as some street noise does filter through, even at night, in the front room.
We're hoping that Amir keeps renting it short term so we can stay again when we come to Tel Aviv.
