It can be frustrating for a vegan to try to find great options at Italian restaurants in SF. But when my partner and I finally ate here, we were satisfied and impressed. It has a Michelin star, and the dark, but not too dark lighting, cozy seating, great food, and warm service all make it feel like a special occasion. Though vegan options aren’t marked on the menu, your server should be able to let you know what they can do for you. Let them know you’re a vegan when you make your reservation: The staff will appreciate knowing beforehand, and your experience will be so smooth.
