The museum is built with the aim to enhance the exhibits related to the history of the navy Viareggio and Tuscany in general. It is divided into the following thematic sections: equipment on board, shipyards, seafarers, carpenters and shipwrights, Italian navy, navy and art, model making, palombaristica and underwater work, fishing, nautical instruments and sailing.
