How about some delicious dessert? “Chè” is a general Vietnamese word to describe any traditional Vietnamese sweet beverage, which is usually available in the form of pudding, or as a plain drink. There are various flavors that you can try here.
This local snack store (No 4, Hang Can Str, Hoan Kiem district) sell very local and traditional Hanoian "Che", an all-year-round desert, pronounced as "Cheh" (sweet soup), which is available in both winter (hot) and summer (ice). You can order black bean, mung bean, lotus seed Che, etc served with black jelly and shredded coconut during summer, or Chi Ma Phu (black sesame) or Luc Tao Xa (mung bean) hot sweet soup during winter. Yum!
