A classic staple of Dorado’s Puerto Rican restaurants, Metropol has been around for a very long time. If you like authentic Puerto Rican and Cuban food, you’ll be able to find it here. The first Metropol Restaurant was founded in 1965 by Cuban immigrant José (Pepe) Canosa. He created the famous Metropol Fried Rice, “Gallinita Rellena”, as well as the Montuno Cubano. Metropol is located inside the Plaza Dorada Shopping Center where you can also conveniently park your car. When exiting Dorado del Mar, make a right and follow the road until you see the Plaza Dorada shopping center on your left.
