Only 5 minutes away, this is an awesome stop for those seeking thrills and up for a bit of adventure. Hire downhill mountain scooters and take in the scenery on your way down.

Perfect idea if you're looking to get active and have some fun! This place has many activities available, but the main attraction is the monster scooters. Kind of like normal scooters but with huge tires and great suspension. 8 different downhill tracks to choose from, with shuttles collecting you from the bottom each time and taking you back up. Approximately a 10 minute drive to get there. Highly recommend!

Heads up adventures is Northland’s most diverse mountain bike trail park & home to New Zealand’s first and ONLY monster scooters, and we offer paintball too. Come and check out our awesome funky cafe on the hill with the best views in town if you’re just after a coffee! Think of us when planning your staff function, stag do, birthday party or team-building exercise activity. We are open everyday 10am-5pm during school holidays & summer, otherwise Wednesday to Sunday from 10am – 4.30pm, but vary due to weather.
