A great stop for fabulous food when out on a hinterland adventure or on the way out to Minyon Falls
Restaurant with farm to table meals. You can also go Sat morn for their pop up bakery (think jam donuts etc) and coffee cart and sit amongst their veggie garden.
Great 15 minute drive to this quaint town . Look at Knick knacks, antique store and try to book in for a meal in advance.
Harvest is an excellent lunch spot in the sleepy pituresque village of Newrybar. Bookings are essential, but you won't be disappointed by this beautiful lunch spot.
Wow what an experience, and only a short walk from where you are staying. Recommend to book.
“Great spot to spend a few hours strolling the grounds. With playground, animals, macadamia orchard, three blue ducks restaurant, the bread social bakery plus baylato gelato and flowers at the farm there’s lots to see and do here.”
“Best sushi in the region, not so much a secret anymore...but beautiful and worth the drive! There are some other great stores on the same road, and a park across the road for kids. Get takeaway and then let the kids have a play while you chill. Or if you aren’t with kids eat-in if there’s space and enjoy the ambiance.”
“An absolute must and fantastic day out for those wanting to explore the beautiful hinterland, tropical rainforests and National Parks. A 40 minute drive south west from your stay Minyon Falls are just picture perfect. The 2 hour walking trail that takes you down to the bottom of the waterfall is well worth doing . One of my favourite walks with my family. You can stop for coffee or a bite to eat in the quaint little village Admiral on the way.”
“Special night out? Look no further than St Elmo’s - amazing food, and a sophisticated and intimate atmosphere. The only drawback is snaring a table as, even on a quiet night, St Elmo’s is often booked out, so remember to book early. Whether you start at the bar or head straight to your table for some of the Bay’s best tapas, you‘re assured of a fantastic evening at this superb venue. REMEMBER: Put on your best holiday outfit and head to St Elmo’s for a night to remember! Open 7 nights a week from 5 pm st elmos byron bay ”
“The most easterly point of Australia, worth the stunning scenic coastal walk up the hill or you can opt to drive. Sunrises here are spectacular and be sure to look out for dolphins and whales in the ocean below.”
