Great little air conditioned restaurant and cafe with good Thai and Western food.

The food and coffee at Thaan Aoan is delicious but it's really the wonderful service that sets it way above other cafes in Chiang Mai. The staff are always ready with a smile, even when they're super busy. Kid friendly, High chair available for babies and toddler.

Brown tone decorated, simple but comfortable, the atmosphere seems like home. Desserts are very yummy, good smell of fresh-bake bread and have also fresh seasonal fruit.
