Chinatown is one of Washington DC's top tourist attractions. Home to the Capitol One Arena and Ford's Theatre, you'll never have a dull moment while visiting China Town
Chinatown usually has a farmers market on Sundays, bubble tea, great restaurants, and is home to the Capital One Arena where large sporting events are held (tickets required for entry).
Chinatown has diverse cuisine but has only a few restaurants that provide Chinese cuisine. Chinatown is a very active neighborhood with shopping and entertainment. You can also find outdoor musicians performing there.
Chinatown has something for every interest and barely clings to its somewhat dubious title of Chinatown. Concerts and D.C.’s Capitals and Wizards take center stage at Verizon Center, the National Portrait Gallery is a more human scaled part of the Smithsonian with its artistic aesthetic, and everything from hot dog carts to upmarket restaurants is open to serve you.
