六角堂(紫雲山 頂法寺)は、聖徳太子の建立と伝わる古寺で、本堂の形から六角堂と呼ばれています。仏前への供花がのちに住職の池坊によって華道へと発展したとされ、いけばな発祥の地としても知られています。
