The Langbath lakes are a beautiful spot to cycle or stroll round, and can be cycled to from the Rosenhof in about an hour.

The Langbathsee is particulary pretty with an upper and lower lake. It is only 8kms from Ebensee so you can bike or drive. Take a picnic and walk both lakes. The mountains soar above the upper lake. Beautiful scenery, mountains all around, lakes pristine and perfect, easy walk (no steep inclines) approx. 2 hours around both the smaller and bigger lake, perfect for a family stroll. It is a great place to spend a whole day when is hot, with the beautiful view on the high mountains. There is a good place for swim, a quite nice stony beach and very clean water. Close to the lake is a huge car parking (for free), toilets and a bar with cold drinks and something to eat. If the weather is not sufficient for swimming it is a good place for walking or riding on mountain bike.

Wunderschöne Rundwanderung zu jeder Jahreszeit, nur um den vorderen oder auch um beide Seen. Langlaufloipe im Winter, herrliche Badetemperatur im Sommer.

In der Nähe vom Offensee ebenfalls ein wunderschöner Ausflug. Man kann hier wenn man möchte gleich um den Vorderen und Hinteren Langbathsee spazieren. Lake close to Offensee, also a great area for walks.
