The Jade Buddha Temple is a Buddhist temple in Shanghai, China. It was founded in 1882 with two jade Buddha statues imported to Shanghai from Burma by sea.
A 10 minutes taxi ride or a half hour discovery of the neighborhood through Jing'an, The Jade Buddha Temple is a classic not too far from the flat. Come to an iconic Buddhist Temple in the middle of the city, and you may see the monks at prayer - very theraputic with the smell on insense wafting around the area. Can get busy so try and get there early.
