If you want to see real market from the past to the present. One of the freshfood market in Chiang Mai. The market starts on 4.30 - 9.00 a.m. You can buy meat and vegetables for cooking. You can buy local food for tasting. If you come earlier, sometime you can see daily alms round of Buddhist monks.
