The most beautiful theater in the city, it's truly a gem in the heart of downtown. The building was first open to the public in 1850. Normally over the weekends, there are concerts, plays, shows.

O Teatro de Santa Isabel, monumento tombado pelo Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional em 31 de outubro de 1949 representa o primeiro e mais expressivo exemplar de Arquitetura Neoclássica em Pernambuco e um dos mais notáveis do país.
