Floating the river is defiantly a thing to do in Bend but the Whitewater Park takes it up a notch. Surf, kayak or body surf the various waves.

Super unique fun spot to either watch the action or try a piece yourself! You can rent tubes at Riverbend Park and float the Deschutes through the Old Mill, or go to Tumalo Creek and rent a surfboard. Fun place to spend a hot day.

The park is open in summer months and free--simply bring your flotation devices! A shuttle runs riders upstream or some opt for the short walk to roll down the rapids on your float! Check ahead for covid restrictions.
