The ski resorts that are in this canyon are Solitude, & Brighton Ski resorts. But, there is tons of hiking paths as well for the Summer, & Fall.

Hiking, mountain biking, trail running, climbing, backpacking, back country skiing…..not to mention the reservoirs and breathtaking views. Awesome!

This canyon has great hiking, skiing, and rock climbing. The ski resorts include Brighton and Solitude. These are some of the cheaper skiing options close to Salt Lake. If you are in to hiking this has some of the best trails. If you are looking for something easy drive all the way to the top and hike around Silver Lake. If you are looking for something more intense try hiking to Lake Desolation. This will provide you views of Big Cottonwood Canyon as well as Park City. If you like to go rock climbing this has the best top-rope and sport climbing around SLC.
