This place is hidden in on Istiklal. Used to be called Kasette and now is called Citizen! Usually has a 20 lira cover charge (3 Euros) so unlike many spots on the guide this is guaranteed entry once you pay! It’s one of my favorite spots in Istanbul and a true locals only bar!!! It’s very unpretentious, just great DJs and cool people having fun.. also only 10 min walk from the flat :)

Not just an ordinary bar! It is nearly a club thanks to the great electronic music always mixed live by the best local DJs as well as by international guests especially from the Berlin scene. It has the advantage of being open-air and therefore allowing for conversation on top of dancing. Fabulous for mingling and making new friends too. So you have good drinks, excellent music and fabulous people 6 nights a week.

Good dancing spot. Semi open place and plays house music. You can drink, dance & smoke. Very crowded on weekends.
