The largest of the named city parks, some 17 hectares, Bonython Park/Tulya Wardli attracts many thousands of visitors annually. The Park, situated between Port Road and the River Torrens hosts a range of community events. The park’s southern end has two playgrounds, a boating lake used by model and sailing boat enthusiasts (subject to water restrictions), a kiosk and barbecues. The banks of the River Torrens offer visitors the opportunity to walk quietly, observing the wildlife. The native water rat (distinguished from the European rat by a yellow tipped tail) is plentiful and a variety of bird life can be observed including pelicans and black swans. Loads of walking tracks, kids playground, garbage bins, picnic tables, parking, and a lovely cafe with outdoor benches and seating. A family-friendly, popular spot, and easy access. What a super awesome playground near the river. Plenty of fun and exciting play equipment for the kids to explore. Also has public toilets, bike/running tracks, BBQs, and a huge lawn area. A road safety riding area is also a short stroll away near a duck pond. Adults and kids can enjoy the planes and trams go by.

So great for families with an updated play space, cafe, bike track and the police horse stables nearby. Great for walking or cycling trails along the river.
