The actual taproom is in Sheet Harbour, but in the summer Sober Island has an outdoor beer garden next to the Train station and Bandwagon Food truck in Musquodoboit Harbour. Easily walkable to Ocean Bay View!

If you like craft beer or you just like to try new things you will definitely want to visit Sober Island brewing co. I love this place, not only for the beer....sooo gooood!!!, but for the friendly atmosphere. And If you are not into beer there are other options available like wine and ciders as well as none alcoholic beverages. Either way you will love the vibe! The atmosphere is so friendly that the second time you visit (...and there will be a second time..) you will likely be greeted by name...you'll feel like your in an episode of "Cheers." The owners Steve & Nancy would like me to remind you that this establishment is also dog and family friendly and often have live music. Check out their FB page for more info.
