Great, quiet beach at the end of Main Beach/Hastings Street. Fabulous sunset views. Awesome spot for kite-surfing on north-easterly sea breezes - and fantastic spot for spectators. Also check out the ice-cream and hot-dog van (there at random hours, rarely before 10am and rarely after 330pm). Walk a few hundred metres upstream for another (dog-friendly) beach - no waves, so great for young children, but can be a strong current, so check conditions before letting them enter the water.

Noosa River is a magic destination for swimming, fishing, walking, dining, simple fish & chips on the river or a picnic. There is 4klms of fabulous cycle & walking paths to enjoy the river & surrounds. Lined with gelato bars, cafes & restaurants there is a great choice of eating & drinking - breakfast to dinner.

There are many boat hire companies dotted along the Noosa River on Gympie Terrace. There are craft of all sizes and range from fishing and cruising boats, to stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, kite surfing and jet-skis. The Noosa River is both a safe and beautiful place for the whole family to enjoy a relaxing or adventurous experience. We regularly take our visitors on a slow boat trip up the river. Everyone enjoys the relaxed pace and beautiful views, before parking to enjoy lunch and a cold beer onboard.
