升旗山位于槟城中部偏北，是槟城第一高峰，也是马来西亚第一个山间避暑胜地。山上绿荫重重，水声淙淙，山顶的温度大约是摄氏十五度。可以徒步也可以坐缆车，缆车于1923年通车，至今仍采用78年前那套电缆牵拉的操作方式。 Penang Hill is one of the most popular destinations In Penang. Penang Hill is actually a complex of hills and spurs and the highest point is Western Hill which is 830 metres (2730ft) above sea level. There is a walking track up the hill. It takes 4 hours to reach the top. The most popular way up the hill is via a funicular train, which takes about half an hour. It is also a great place to hike. Taking a Train up the hill is fun. You get to see the view of the city, Penang bridge. Local pays cheaper than foreigners. Display of the old train. Now it only takes 2 mins to reach the hill top.

Penang Hill is a hill resort comprising a group of peaks on Penang Island, Malaysia. It is located within the Air Itam suburb, 9 km west of the center of George Town. Penang Hill is also known by the Malay name Bukit Bendera, which actually refers to Flagstaff Hill, the most developed peak.

Great views of Penang especially in the evening. Pro-tips : As much as possible, avoid going on weekends as the crowd and queue is very long.
