The Odeon

I’ve been coming to this energetic bistro since arriving in New York in the ’80s, but it’s currently enjoying a revival as a favorite watering hole that also serves great French-American fare. The accommodating staff is thoughtful when seating parents with kids and babies and hand over crayons so kids can draw on the table’s butcher paper. You’d be hard-pressed to find better French fries in the city. They come served with their signature pink Odeon dipping sauce.
