We absolutely love cycling along the waterfront – you can ride from Teneriffe all the way to South Bank! This journey is ~8km and will take about 45 min one way. Join the CityCycle bike hire scheme online (www.citycycle.com.au) or at a bike station – it’s $2 for a daily pass and if you keep your journeys under 30min, there are no extra costs!

Brisbane has a cheap public bicycle hire system that allows you to pick up bicycles from stations for your use. You can register as a user on the City Cycle website and find out the location of stations.
