Most of the major car rental companies are located at the airport. You do need to take a shuttle bus from just across the street from the terminal. However, it's a short drive to the cluster of buildings that sit behind the airport parking lot.

we have a private 2 car garage for you to take advantage (very very very rare in Kauai),so mini vans are great to load up for the beach then you can just leave all your gear in the van safely in the garage
