Hang Gai Street is one of the most frequently visited area in Old Quarter and is great for picking up some high quality, fashionable silk items, such as dresses and home furnishings, as well as other fashion items. Also known as Silk Street, the entirety of this busy 300-metre-long street is lined with boutiques and fashion stores offering professorial tailoring services. Squeezed in between the high profile boutiques are narrow souvenir shops selling far cheaper – and lower quality – items, as well as a few excellent art galleries
