Stop by this historic poor farm that the McMenamins have remodeled into a hotel, music venue, distillery, winery. Walk the beautiful gardens, sit outside or in any of the eclectic spaces they have beautifully curated. This is a great place to stop by for a meal or a drink on the way back from the Columbia River Gorge or Mt Hood. I'd even say it's a fun destination for a day trip.

The McMenamins chain is unique. They are spread all over the Portland metro area. They might just be a pub on a neighborhood block. Or, it will be a whole campus complete with bars, restaurants, hotel, theater's, shopping, etc. This one is the latter. Expect to pay mid-range prices.

Live music venues and history & art work that will keep you wandering all day long. Glass blowing studio, gift shop, and lodging. Heated lazy river accessible to day spa treatment guests.
