Llangynidr The Coach & Horses - Old coaching house in the lovely village of Llanynidr, surrounded by the Brecon Beacons. Outside there is a peaceful garden overlooking the Monmouth & Brecon Canal. A lovely town with more substantial shopping, pubs and cafes. Very scenic route over the tops of the mountains if you want. Famous Brecon beacons and jazz festival in the summer but both can be touristy.

Brecon is a lovely Town with great cafes/ Restaurants and shops There is a great Ice cream parlour called ''Llanfaes Dairy''. There are 3 supermarkets - Morrisons - Aldi - Co-op
