Brisbane's laneway culture has taken off due to the likes of Super Whatnot. With a great cocktail menu and plenty of boutique drinks, this is a great spot to relax and unwind.

I've had many good memories at this little bar where the music is loud and seats are hard to come by. Dive on a spot on the sunken lounge as soon as a table departs.

Hidden in Burnett Lane - Running parallel to Queen St Mall, this small unpretentious speak easy type bar is a nice spot to stop in and have a drink. Great selection of beers and wines and knowledgable bar staff.
