Lovely hiking trails out to Lake Michigan beach. FYI -You might want to take bug spray for mosquitoes in the woods during summer months.

The breathtaking leelanau state park and lighthouse is just an 8-minute drive north of the cottage. Many excellent hiking options here and in the surrounding area.
