he Riddarholmen Church Stockholm’s only remaining medieval abbey, built in the late 1200s.The church is the last resting place of the Swedish monarchs and aristocracy, including Gustav II Adolf, Karl XII, Gustav V and their consorts. The church is open during the summer as a museum. Guided tours.
On the left side of Gamla Stan you will find Riddarholmen. Riddarholmen is great because from here you have a great scenic view of the City and City Hall.

The main landmark is the church Riddarholmskyrkan, used as Sweden's royal burial church from the 17th century to 1950, and where a number of earlier Swedish monarchs also lie buried.
