Chef Smelly. Google him. Follow him on Instagram, @chefsmelly. Garlic noodles, seafood, he’s an inspiration. Voted best East Bay chef a couple of years back and he didn’t even have a restaurant. But there was always a line. Now that he is at Au it’s easier to get a spot. Pay no attention to the photos above. Pro-tip: portions are huge. Splitting an order might make you look weak to the chef, but that’s what we do.
