The refuge is located on Monte Beigua, the highest mountain in this area. It directly overlooks the sea and you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea, the cities of the coast, from Genoa on the left to Savona on the right, and up to the Maritime Alps always on the right. Furthermore, the road to get there is also very scenic, especially in Pian Castagna and on Bric Berton you can admire a large slice of the Alpine Arch with all of Piedmont! I recommend going 500 meters beyond the refuge by car and stopping in the clearing on the left before the antennas. From the refuge there are many hiking trails in the nature. At the Refuge you can taste good food in a mountain location.
