I like this light house because it's an adventure in its self to get to the light house . Once you get there, you have a sense of accomplishment while you explore the light house and the rest of Jones Point Park

You can be in Maryland, DC, and Virginia in one park! It's quiet and other than the giant Woodrow Wilson Bridge overhead it's quiet and you forget it's in the city!

Enjoy the views of the Potomac and escape the hustle bustle of the city. Great little oasis within Old Town. Walk or bike.

close to Old Town...2 playgrounds: one has a nautical theme while the other is smaller and more of nets to climb; right on the Potomac
