The wine monopoly is the only place you can buy liquors and spirits above 4,5% alcohol. Open until 18 Mon - Fri, until 15 on Saturdays, closed on Sundays.

In Norway you may only buy beer in the grocery stores. To buy wine and other alcohols to bring home, you need to go to Vinmonopolet.

Wine, spirits ++ Vinmonopolet is the only company allowed to sell drinks with alcohol over 4.75% in Norway. So if you're in the mood for wine or spirits this is the place to go!
