Hamilton Zoo is the main zoological garden of Hamilton, New Zealand. Covering 25 hectares, it is situated on Brymer Road in the Hamilton suburb of Rotokauri, on the outskirts of the metropolitan area towards the northwest. Well worth a visit.

35min drive. This is not only a great place to visit the animals but it’s a lovely walk! The zoo covers a large area.

Highly recommend. This main zoological garden of Hamilton covers 25 hectares. Allow 3 hrs. Definitely see the monkeys. Enjoy seeing the animals in their natural looking environment with lots of trees for shelter and privacy and most importantly lots of space. Bring water bottle, hat and sunscreen. Don't miss visiting this fabulous Zoo.
