30 minutes drive from Les Taloches, Montignac is well worth a visit..not least as it is home to the world-famous Lascaux caves. The river Vezere flows through the village, offering kayaking opportunities. Nearby is Saint Leon sur Vezere, one of France's most beautiful villages and the Chateau de Losse just 5 km away is a small but charming castle on the banks of the Vezere river.

Pilotis Restaurant is set on the banks of the Vezere river and has a great ambience. Great staff, very friendly and helpful and a range of both Italian food and local french food.
